What we observe is the scene of an event. The viewer will ask questions
about the incident and will be led to discover / decipher the sounds into the
environment and those specific to the site, and perhaps find answers within
himself.

FORSE STANOTTE (OPERETTA INUTILE)
LUCA MITI (Italy). Composer and pianist, was born in Rome in 1957. He
studied jazz piano, extended vocal techniques and baroque flute “a bec”.
From 1980 he worked as a composer and performer of contemporary music.
His work is centered on a deep research, beyond "sound".
He has worked extensively with the likes of Albert Mayr, Francesco Michi,
Alvin Curran, Mauro Orselli, Michiko Hirayama and others. His repertoire
consists of "hard to find"compositions  (Keyboard Studies by Terry Riley,
works Takehisha Kosugi, lesser-known compositions by Alvin Curran). And
he’s the dedicatee of works by Tom Johnson, Pauline Oliveros and others.
Among his recordings of original compositions are worth mentioning
"Musiche Sole" (with Roberto Barbanti and Letizia Bolognesi -
Electronikaruna), Mansions, (ants records), 4 oder 5 (hässliche)
Klavierstucke (ants records), Compendium Musicae (with Michyko Hirayama,
Mauro Orselli and Mauro Tiberi - ADA), Dinner with NED (NED).
As a piano interpreter of pieces by minimalist school he realized the CD "Just
Before Dawn" (ants records) that includes pieces by composers such as
Terry Riley, Gyorgy Kurtag, Laurie Spiegel, Tom Johnson, Alvin Curran, Gigi
Masin. His artistic vocabulary expands to the creation of shows of sound art
and performance and the interpretation of scores by artists like Giuseppe
Chiari, Takehisha Kosugi, Christian Wolff.
