PROPOSTE SONORE

The festival VISITAZIONI, co/produced by PROPOSTE

SONORE and TEATROINSCATOLA with the

collaboration of BLUTOPIA and the patronage of the

Regione Lazio, the Consiglio Regionale del Lazio and

Roma Capitale, was held in Rome from 27 January to

March 4, 2014 and has focused public attention on an

artistic phenomenon on the border between sound art,

performance, video , where the sound is a basic

element but also a starting point for investigations that

involve other senses.

The " visitations " of the title have been designed by the

artists as an opportunity for a different approach to

sound, modulated on the peculiar space of the

Teatroinscatola which hosted the event. With this

festival we wanted to provide a varied landscape on the

scene of the so-called "Sound Art" and everything that

revolves around this common name.

The festival has received excellent feedback in terms of

audience and important appreciation for the quality of
